Clinical application of point of care testing and the potential problems

摘要 床旁检验(point of care testing,POCT)技术在临床应用范围日渐广泛,该技术的主要优势是能快速得到检验结果,使临床医生能迅速做出临床决策并采取适当的处置和干预措施。但是,也应该清醒地看到POCT在帮助患者成功得到治疗的同时,存在着导致患者伤害的重大可能。尽早制定出台POCT规范性文件显得尤为必要,只有实施POCT技术准入、实施全面规范的质量管理、加强医师、护士及相关人员培训,方能使POCT技术健康地造福于社会。 The clinical application of POCT technology is growing wider, the most significant advantage of this technology is to get the test results quickly. Therefore clinicians could make clinical decisions in time and choose appropriate approaches or interventions. However, it should be taken seriously that while POCT helps patients to get medical care successfully, the potential harm to the patients cannot be ignored. Hence it is essential that normative documents should be imposed as soon as possible. The technology of POCT can benefit the entire society only if the proper administration to approve the use of POCT technology is taken control of; the comprehensive and normative quality management is implemented, and the appropriate training to the related clinicians and nurses is enforced.
