摘要
本文从信息论的角度阐释强调型极量极性词的敏感性特征,把Israel提出的基于量值的极性词的梯级模型拓展为基于概率的极性词的梯级模型,并做了两点补充:用单调函数区分同级极性词,对极性词的不合适用法的成因提出新的解释方法。
This paper approaches the sensitivity issue of emphatic polarity items from the perspective of information theory. We come up with the Probability-based Scalar Model of Polarity, extending the Quantity-based Model of Polarity proposed by Israel, to ac- count for two issues, namely the differentiation of polarity items in terms of the monotonic functions, and the method to detect the infelicitous use of polarity items.
