摘要
村上春树的小说创作受到美国文学精神的深刻影响,他对麦尔维尔的《白鲸》极为推崇,将"高贵"、"滑稽"和"悲剧"这3个特征概括为"美国式剧作法",并把这种文学主张体现在自己的小说创作中。本文分析《白鲸》和村上春树小说创作中所具有的这3个特征,讨论麦尔维尔和村上春树的共相审美追求以及这些特征的文学价值和意义指向。
Murakami Haruki＇ s novels are influenced by American literature. He spoke highly of Herman Melville＇ s Moby-Dick. He summarized nobleness, funniness and tragedy as the three features of ＂American-style play-making methods＂ which he pre-sented in his novels. This paper studies the three features embodied in Moby-Dick and Murakami Haruki＇ s novels. Meanwhile, it ex- plores their common aesthetic pursuits, and discusses the literary values and the significance of these characteristics.
