摘要
该文先介绍了组播骨干网(Mbone)和组播的相关概念,然后讨论了Internet和Mbone的异构性,在此基础上论述了如何有效地在异构环境下传输实时多媒体信息,并比较了两种对异构性的不同解决方案.
： This paper first introduces the concepts associated with multicast backbone(Mbone)and multicast,then discusses the heterogeneity of the Internet and Mbone.Based on the above discussion,how to transmit efficiently real－time multimedia data is discussed over the heterogeneous environment.Finally,two different methods of handling the heterogeneity are compared．
