The View of Science Based on Dialectic Rationality

与传统理性主义科学观和非理性主义科学观相比,科学修辞语境中的辩证理性科学观为我们提供了一种更为符合科学实践同时也更富有前途的指向,因为与传统理性主义科学观不同,它并不是与一个特性或一组已确立的必要条件相联系,而是与自由争论的不同特性和语境条件相联系;同时与"怎么都行"的"非理性"相比,辩证理性更加适当,因为它并不取决于权威的心理冲动或外在的社会因素,而是权衡于科学修辞语境中的实体性和程序性因素;此外,它还克服了早期那些朴素辩证法单一、步骤化的缺陷,使其在多变的科学修辞语境中更好地彰显其丰富性和应变性。

Compared with the view of science of traditional rationalism and that of irrationalism, the view of science based on dialectic rationality in the context of rhetoric of science offers us a promising approach more consistent with the practice of science. Different from the view of science of traditional rationalism, it is correctly related to different characteristics and contextual conditions in the free argument rather than only one character or some certain necessary conditions. Compared with the irrational assertion that anything goes, the dialectical rationality is more appropriate, for it depends on those substantive factors and procedural factors in the context of rhetoric of science rather than impulse from authority and influences from society;in addition, it also gets over the single and procedural drawbacks of the early dialectics, which made it colorful and flexible in the variable context of rhetoric of science.
