The Ethnic Conflict in Northern Myanmar and Security of China's Northwest Border

缅甸少数民族武装聚集地——缅北紧邻中国,该地区在历史上和现实中都与中国有着广泛的联系,缅北民族冲突对中国边境地区安全稳定和对中国在缅甸的投资带来新的挑战,对此,中国应该积极采取措施,发挥建设性作用。

Northern Myanmar is where the armed bands of Myanmar's ethnic minorities congregate and very close to China.In both history and reality,this region has profound connections with China.As a result,the ethnic conflict in Northern Myanmar poses new challenges to China's border security and stability as well as China's investment in that country.In regard to this situation,China should take active measures and play a constructive role.
