India-Saudi Arabia Relationship in the Beginning of the 21st Century and its Impact on China

进入21世纪以来,印沙两国关系迅速发展,经济上的互补以及应对印度洋非传统安全的共同需要成为推动双边关系发展的重要动因,但因宗教信仰、安全利益考量上的差异,以及域外大国等因素的影响,印沙两国在军事和战略领域尚难以形成"牢不可破"的伙伴关系。印沙关系发展将对中国能源安全和战略利益等方面产生潜在影响。

Since the beginning of the 21st century,the relation between India and Saudi Arabia has developed very fast,resulted from their mutual economic complement and common need of non-traditional security in the Indian Ocean.But differences in religious belief,security interest considerations and the influence of big powers outside the region have determined that they can not form an 'unbreakable' partnership in military and strategic areas.The development of India-Saudi Arabia relationship will pose a potential challenge to China's energy security and strategic interest.
