This article analyzes the values of roof garden for the city, the natural environment, the buildings and the society. Taking the construction of roof garden in an office building in Xizhimen of Beijing as an ex- ample,the article explores the features of the roof garden design and construction and also key technical points,discusses the reasons why develop roof garden in Beijing and the current situation,and looks forward the development prospects.
