By “lifting” scheme, we can get Integer Wavelet Transforms(IWT) which are important for lossless compression of image. Based on the idea, we can get the coefficients for reversible integer wavelet transforms, then encode this coefficients by zero\|tree coding and arithmetic coding .Finally we compare the experimental results with the best JPEG, It can be seen that IWT can be used in remote sensing image lossless compression efficiently.
