中西方宽容差异比较及启示

The Differences Comparison between Chinese and Western Tolerant Views and Its Revelation

因经济基础、文化背景、历史传承的不同,中西方宽容的差异将长期存在。通过比较发现:中国人的宽容偏重情感层面,深受中华民族传统文化的熏染;西方人的宽容偏重理性层面,紧密依存于健全完善的社会法制体系。具体到经济、政治、思想文化等具体领域二者同样存在较大差异。因此中华民族合理宽容观的构建需要对中国传统宽容观进行批判与继承,对当代西方宽容观进行筛选与借鉴,进而实现中西方宽容的合理契合。

Because of the different economic bases, cultural backgrounds and the state natures, the differences be- tween Chinese and western tolerant views will exist for a long time. Through differences comparison, it is found that Chinese tolerant view emphasizes emotional aspect, while western tolerance view lays particular stress on the ration- al aspect and closely depends on the sound and complete social legal system. As to the economic, political, ideo- logical and cultural fields, major differences exist. Through comparison, we can see that the construction of reason- able Chinese tolerant view needs the criticism and inheritance of traditional Chinese tolerant view. We should select and learn from the western toIerant view for the reasonable integration of Chinese and western tolerant views.
