马克思关于"社会生活在本质上是实践的"这论断内在地包含着对社会生活的精神特质和文化属性的确认。社会文化具有多种存在形态,但其实质则是内含于人类实践活动的过程和结果中并通过社会交往而被社会化和客观化了的普遍精神。社会文化的核心是价值观念,而最基本的价值观念则是人作为实践活动的主体所具有的自主性和自由性。社会文化在社会发展中具有本体论的意义,它构成了社会发展的文化机制,社会历史的进步趋势也必然包含历史主体的价值选择。

Marx’s inference that social life is an essentially practical experience includes inherently a confirmation of the spirit peculiarity and cultural property of social life.Social culture has various existence patterns,but its substance is the universal spirit which is contained inherently in the process and results of human practice,so cialized and externalized through social communication.The core of social culture is values;while the most ba sic value is autonomy and freedom of the person as a practical subject.Social culture has an ontological signifi cance in the development of society,which constitutes the cultural machinery of social developing.The tenden cy of social development includes inevitably the value choice of historical subject.
