Progress of general survey of Miyun Reservoir and lessons learned

密云水库工程普查历时两年,分清查和普查两个阶段,普查范围主要包括水库工程及其附属的防汛仓库、桥梁。在普查过程中,克服了种种困难,查阅资料、勘查现场、校核数据,圆满地完成了普查任务,便利了水库的运行管理。同时结合工程现状和普查经历,总结了经验与不足。

General survey of Miyun Reservoir had lasted for two years that divided into two periods of showdown inspection and general survey. The scope of general survey covers the reservoir and its associated inventory or warehouses for flood defense and bridges. The general survey was complete successfully by overcoming difficulties in data searching, field investigation and data checking. It not only provides convenience for the operation and maintenance of the reservoir, but also summarizes experience for future improvement.
