壮药苦丁茶和罗汉茶提取物的体外抗肿瘤活性实验

Anti-cancer effect of the extract from the leaves of Ilex kudingcha C.J.Tseng and Engelhardia roxburghiana Wall.in vitro

目的考察苦丁茶叶和罗汉茶叶两种壮药70%乙醇提取物的体外抗肿瘤活性,为这两种壮药的综合应用研究提供实验依据。方法采用四甲基噻唑蓝(MTT)法检测苦丁茶叶和罗汉茶叶的提取物对SGC-7901、SK-OV-3、7404、CNE-1及H460 5种肿瘤细胞株的抗肿瘤增殖作用,计算抑制率。结果苦丁茶叶和罗汉茶叶提取物对5种肿瘤细胞株均无明显的抑制作用,其抑制率均低于50%。结论此研究结果为苦丁茶叶和罗汉茶叶的应用评价提供活性研究基础方面的依据。

Objective To study the anti-cancer effect of 70% aqueous ethanol extract from the leaves of Ilex kudingcha and Engelhardia roxburghiana in vitro,to provide scientific foundation for comprehensive applied research on two plants.Methods The extracts from the leaves of Ilex kudingcha and Engelhardia roxburghiana were evaluated the antiproliferative activity by MTT assay on five human cancer cell lines,such as gastric adenocarcinoma cell（SGC-7901）,ovarian cancer cell（SK-OV-3）,hepatoma carcinoma cell（7704）,nasopharyngeal carcinoma cell（CNE-1） and non-small cell lung carcinoma（H460）.The inhabition rations were calculated.Results The aqueous ethanol extracts from the leaves of Ilex kudingcha and Engelhardia roxburghiana showed no significant activity against the five cancer cell lines.Their growth inhibition ratios were less than 50%.Conclusion The results can provide the activity foundation for the leaves of Ilex kudingcha and Engelhardia roxburghiana application.
