Science of Success and the Development of College Students:Analysis of the Dual Influences

20世纪90年代,成功学借助中国经济飞速发展的社会环境及人们渴望成功的心理需求得以迅速传播。成功学在大学生群体中也广为流传,它帮助大学生在强化目标意识、激发竞争意识及提高心理素质等方面起到积极的正面作用。但成功学也给大学生带来急功近利的浮躁心理、个人主义作风、错误的成功观、职业观以及个人价值观的偏离等负面影响。教育工作者要将西方成功学融入中国本土的成功学精髓,以学生的幸福为价值诉求,回归学生的生活世界,更真切更实际地多方面引导大学生成长。

In the 1990s,Science of Success was spread rapidly with the social environment of China＇s rapid economic development and people＇s psychological needs for success.Science of Success,widespread among the college students,plays a positive role in helping them enhance awareness of goal,stimulates sense of competition and improves their psychological quality. But Science of Success also brings them negative effects,such as utilitarian impetuous psychology of seeking quick success and instant benefits,producing individual style while forming the wrong view of success and vocational views as well as deviation of individual values.Educators should integrate western Science of Success into the essence of Chinese native Science of Success, take students＇ happiness as the value appeal,return to their living world and guide their development more practically in various aspects.
