The applying situation of NC501 type catalyst for methanol synthesis was introduced. It was thought that this catalyst had advantages of stable operation of temperature reducing,the greater part of water discharged at low temperature,good activity at low temperature,high output of methanol,good selectivity and strong toxin resistance.Some proposals were put forward about the catalyst application and the content of CO 2 in feeding gas.
