Evolution of Wudangshan World Heritage Site′s Management System and Its Cause

世界遗产地景区管理制度变迁问题是一个学术热点。该文在系统分析武当山世界遗产地景区管理制度变迁历程的基础上,重点研究武当山管理机构在组织形式、职责权限、行政级别三方面的变化,认为武当山世界遗产地景区制度变迁的动因在于制度供求关系的变化、偶然大事件的推动、相关利益主体的博弈、产权制度设计的激励。

The research on the management of the World Heritage Site （WHS） tourism attracts significant attention in the aca demic community. In this work, by applying the methods of institutional economics analysis and in-depth interviews, the authors systematically analyze the evolution process of the Wudangshan WHS management systems, and focus on its three variations.. the organization style, the responsibility mechanism,and the administration level. It is concluded that the driver for the evolve- ment of the Wudangshan WHS management systems lies on the demand/supply correlation, occasional impactful events, tradeoffs among relevant stakeholders, and the stimulus of the property right system.
