A Process Evolution Mechanism Based on Database

在软件开发中 ,以进程为中心的环境已经成为新一代的软件开发环境 ,它的目标是对整个软件开发周期提供自动化的支持。实际的软件开发任务是一个不断变化的动态进程 ,它需要以进程为中心的环境来支持进程演化。本文提出了一种以增量方式为处理模式、以流行数据库为进程仓库的进程演化机制 ,它对软件开发有着重要的意义。

In developing software,process centered environments have been viewed as a recent generation of software development environments aiming at providing support for the entire software development life cycle in an automatic fashion.Any real world software development task in such a dynamic process involving evolution on the fly which demands support for changes in process centered environments. In this paper, we focus on proposing a mechanism which executes process steps incrementally to handle the changes needed.This mechanism uses the prevalent database systems as process repository in order to increase the applicability of process centered environmensts.This method will play an important role in software development.
