摘要
研究红外目标图像中弱小目标的自动检测和定位方法 .将弱小目标看作是红外图像中灰度和位置均未知的暂态信号 ,通过对图像信号作多尺度的小波变换 ,可以在低信噪比条件下检测出弱小目标 .实验结果表明 ,小波变换能很好地增强目标 ,抑制背景杂波 ,从而提高目标检测概率 。
Dim target detection and location from infrared image is studied. Dim target can be regarded as transient signal with unknown intensity and location, and it belongs to high frequency part of the image. By multi resolution wavelet transform for the image, dim target in the condition of low SNR could be detected. The experiment results indicate that wavelet transform can enhance the target and suppress background clutter effectively, and improve the target detection probability and reduce the detection error.
