城市规模扩张是在经济全球化的大背景下城市特别是大中城市自身由初露端倪到逐步成型定位不可或缺的阶段,它使城市呈现显著扩展的状态。近年来,乐山市作为西南地区具有典型代表性的旅游城市迅速发展,经济文化交流频繁,规模也在不断扩张,人们对乐山市的"现代新城"品质定位有了更多的期待和要求。文章对乐山市城市规模快速扩展的现状进行综合而深入的分析,提出了构建"现代新城"品质理想模式的指导思想和实践方式。

In the background of economic globalization, the city scale expansion is a indispensable stage for the city, especially big and medium-sized city. It makes city significantly expanded state. In recent years, Leshan, as the typical tourism city in southwest China, has been developing quickly, economic and cultural exchanges frequent with the world, the scale is constantly expanding. People have more expectations and requirements of the quality and positioning to the Leshan ＂Modem New City＂. Under the comprehensive and deep analysis, this article puts forward to the ideal model and practice way of the Leshan ＂Modem New City＂.
