摘要
硒蛋白S(SelS)即Tanis/SEPSl/VIMP是一种跨膜蛋白,在组织中广泛表达,是糖调节蛋白家族中的一员,可保护细胞免受内质网应激损伤,对胰岛β细胞和内皮细胞具有抗氧化保护作用;其作为血清淀粉样蛋白A的受体参与炎性反应,并与血糖、胰岛素抵抗、血脂水平相关。SelS基因多态性与糖尿病和心、脑血管疾病有关,故可能成为防治上述疾病的新靶点。
Selenoprotein S (SelS), known as Tanis, SEPS1 and VIMP, is a transmembrane protein and widely expressed in tissues. It belongs to the glucose-regulated protein family. SelS could protect ceils against endoplasmic reticulum stress,and mediate anti-oxidative protection to islet β cells and endothelium. As a receptor for serum amyloid A, SelS is involved in inflammation and related to blood glucose, insulin resistance, and serum lipid. The gene polymorphisms of SelS are associated with diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, and cerebrovascular diseases. SelS is a ~otentiallv therapeutic tarzet of the above diseases.
