摘要
本文研究多小波图像编码中前置滤波器的设计。多小波变换涉及矢量滤波,普通的标量信号要通过一个前置滤波器转化为矢量信号,才能进行多小波变换。本文根据图像信号的特点,结合现有的二种前置滤波器,提出了一种新的前置滤波方法。实验数据表明,这种新的前置滤波器优于现有的二种前置滤波器,因而为提高图像压缩比例创造了条件。
A Metshod for pre-filter design in multi-wavelet ingae ys proposed.Multi-wavelet transform is a vector transform,therefore a scalar signal must be first converted into a vector signal before the transform is implemented.In this paper,a new type of pre-filter is presented ,which makes the multi-wavelet image transform possible.The pre-filter combines the characteristic of images and advantages of the pre-filters prevailingly used in multi-wavelet image coding.The experimental results show that the pre-filter presented here is superior to other pre-filters for the reason of concentrating more energy in low-passs sub-images ,therefore it is beneficial to the image coding.
