摘要
现有的复杂背景下汽车牌照定位算法大都是基于牌照水平或者近似水平 ,处理倾斜情况下牌照定位是一个尚待解决的问题。文中提出了一种基于属性开运算的汽车牌照定位算法 ,其处理结果与牌照的倾斜角度无关 ,成功地应用于交通监控系统中。
There are several methods to locate the text area of vehicle picture in the complicate background, but they are all based on the premise that the text is arranged horizonally or nearly horizonally. So it is a problem to resolve the slant angle. In this paper, an attribute\|based opening algorithm to locate the text area of a vehicle picture is proposed. The result is independent on the slant angle of the picture and it has been applied in the system of transportation supervision successfully.
