摘要
研究了用光漂白方法制备PMMA/DR1聚合物X连接型非线性波导。将波长为10 64nm的YAG脉冲激光通过光纤耦合到波导中 ,研究了波导两端口光波模式转换情况 ,并观察到了光信号的自开关效应。材料的非线性折射率和双光子吸收影响了自开关强度的大小。
The technique for preparation of a nonlinear X junction waveguide in polymer PMMA/DR1 film by UV-photobleaching is investigated. The light from a 1 064 nm laser is compled into one channel of the waveguide through the fiber.The light wave mode transfer at two outputs of the waveguide is studied.The power dependent self-switching effect is obtained from our experiment.The switching intensity relies on nonlinear refractive index and two photon absorption of PMMA/DR1.This device provides the basis for all-optical switching which may be used for routing,distributing or time multiplexing.
