This paper analyses the domestic and foreign markets of fiber optic connectors. It is shown that the most market share of fiber optic connectors is in foreign market and the market in China is not big, but the development speed of China's fiber optic connector market is very rapid. This paper introduces also the status of industry of fiber optic connectors in China. It is shown that there are so many small companies working with fiber optic connector assembly that the close down of some small companies and the introduction of fiber optic connectors into some big companies are natural trends.
