This paper introduced some methods of synthesis of halogenated pyridines derivatives from chain compounds,especially the preparation of halogenated pyridines from polyhalopentanenitrile via cycliaztion and introduction of one or multiple halogen atoms to different positions of the cyclics.Besides,further analysis of two possible mechanisms of cyclization are stated.
