摘要
医学模式的转变和医学科学的发展需要具有较高人文关怀精神、较强创新精神和实践能力的医学人才。如何加强通识教育改革，全面发展医学生的综合素质，成为我国独立建制医学院校必须深入思考的问题。本文介绍了通识教育的历史和现状，并就独立建制医学院校通识教育改革的意义和对策进行了探讨。
The new medical model and the modem medical science require the medical personnel to have higher spirit of humane concern, stronger innovative spirit and practice ability. Therefore, the inde-pendent medical colleges must strengthen general education to develop the medical students＇ comprehensive quality. This paper introduces the history and current development of the general education, and analysis the significance and countermeasures of the reform on general education in the independent medical col-lege.
