摘要
EGP教学已不能满足学生的英语学习需求,大学英语教学改革应结合新的教学理念向四级后逐步延伸并实现无缝对接。本文指出CBI教学理念指导下的理工科院校的大学英语教学应该基于学生的实际语言水平,以学科知识为依托,自编教材与原版教材并用,主题式、附加式及保护式三种教学模式并行,四年英语学习不断线并能满足学生和社会双重需求。
EGP can no longer meet students' demand. The reform of college English teaching should go further to the period of post-CET4 and realize the perfect match between EGP and ESP. The paper points out that College English teaching in colleges and universities of science and technology should focus on subject knowledge, com- bine self-compiled and original teaching material, and apply theme-based instruction, adjunct instruction and shel- tered subject matter instruction to different students. Meanwhile, College English teaching should be carried out through the four years to meet the needs of both students and society.
