Experimental Research Ralates to the Method of planting Grass on Railway Slope to Protect Erosion by Rainfall

本文论述了铁路路基边坡植被防止雨水冲刷的试验研究。结果表明,植被对路基边坡具有明显的抗雨水冲刷能力。植被覆盖度只要达到75％,即使遇到大暴雨的灾害性天气,雨水侵蚀边坡的产砂量也只有裸地的5％。由此得出,植被护坡防止水土流失有显著效果。

This paper presents the experimental research guarding against erosion by rainfall with planting grass on railway slope. The result shows that the vegetation cover is one of the best safeguard cover on slope, to efficiently prevent the raodbed from erosion by rainfall. Even though the cover of grass is 75%, the quantity of soil erosion on the covered slope is only 5% of the uncovered slope.
