The existence of bifurcation points of nonlinear operators in Banach space is investigated.The Fréchet differentiability,however,is notassumed.Lastly,one of the main resultsis applied to the study of the existence of at least one bifurcation point of positive solutions for the Dirichlet problem of nonlinear elliptic equations
