Mending Experience of Shi-Tai Highway in Hebei Design and Construction

石太高速公路河北段营运7年后，路基、路面、构造物有较大损害，急需进行大修。通过路面破损、路面钻孔、路面强度等调查，沥青面层钻芯取样抽提试验，路基检测，确定了病害类型及病害成因，针对不同的路段和病害类型设计了不同的大修方案，并提出了可行的大修施工方法。

Shi-Tai highway in Hebei province is a important road for transporting coals. Because highway has the heavy traffics and over-loading, the base and surface of road and the construction have been rather destroyed so that it needs mend in large scale. Through the research of pavement about damagement and drilling and strength, extracting test of mixture and surveys of base, pavement distress types and causes have been made sure. Then different mending design methods and construction methods have been carried through for different distress types.
