后发城市化的优劣势和初始条件

The Advantage and Disadvantage of Later-urbanization and Its Initial Conditions

从历史角度看 ,城市化的启动有一定的条件要求 ,不同的地区和不同的时期 ,所要求的初始条件和动力不一样。本文通过对先行和后发国家城市化道路的比较 ,理出城市化过程中的基本联系 ,指出中国处于什么样的阶段 ,后发城市化国家的基本特点 ,那些因素是正向的 ,那些因素是负向的 。

From a historical perspective, the initiation of urbanization requires certain conditions. Such conditions and impetus for urbanization are different in different places at different times. By comparing the ways both earlier-urbanized countries and later-urbanized countries chose, this paper presents a basic linkage in the process of urbanization, shows the current stage China is in and demonstrates the basic characteristics of later-urbanized countries. Also, the positive and negative factors are identified and some operational proposals are developed.
