回顾过去、瞻望未来,林业建设任重而道远──为迎接2000年而作

Reviewing History and Looking into the Future, Shoulder Heavy Responsiblilities of Forestry Construction──Writing for meeting 2000 year

回顾50年来林业建设的历程。在党中央既符合国情也符合林情的方针政策指引下，林业建设取得了举世瞩目的成绩。但由于政策上的失误，也出现了“两危”的局面，走的是一条独具特色的、未能形成系统的、科学的林业建设道路。在世纪之交，我国林业建设又面临着向新的历史阶段发展，提出了奋斗目标─—在今后一段时间，首要的是提高人们对森林功能的认识，没有认识，什么事情也办不成；并寄希望于青年林学家能投身于林区，与森林为伍，艰苦奋斗一生，创造出前无先人的森林作业法，作出货真价实的贡献。为此，提出了4个重点课题，组织4个科、教、产攻关队伍的设想。同时，根据林木生长长期性的特点，应有“超前”的思想与行动。

Reviewing course of forestry construction for 50 years, under the guidance of proper policy of central authorities of party,our country achieve outstanding accomplishment in forestry construction. But because of fault of tactics, also appearing'twain dangerous' situation. We make characteristic,non-system and scientific way of forestry construction. At the time of approach of 21 century, forest construction of our country is confronted with the new developmental period. For this reason, the paper put forward struggling goal-During a period of time in the future, first of all, knowledge for forest function should be enhanced, and hope that the young forester can devote their life to the cause of forest in order to create the most advanced task way of forest. Therefore, the paper put forward tentative idea that have four important task and four research troops of science, education and produce. Furthermore,on the basis of character of long growing term of forest, we must have foresight idea and act.
