This paper discusses many issues in relationship with the firefighters lift such as the fire emergency return travel, the fire resistant landing door, the main landing, the evacuation level, the fire service access level and the first floor etc. It introduces the requirements of the code for building design fire protection for the firefighters lifts set, the firefighters lifts requirements for the building and the firefighters lifts parameter and the current situation and trend of this code.
