This paper deals with the method of calculating the key angle ANG that is necessary to marking surface roughness accurately under different conditions. With AutoLISP, a program used to mark surface roughness accurately is given, that can be used as a new command of AntoCAD. In addition, put forward a method of loading this new command. By running this command, the roughness symbols that accord with the national standard can be automatically created in the appointed position.
