摘要
曾朴不仅是中国近代著名的小说家,还是一位重要的翻译家。通过对其首部译作《影之花》(1905)的考察后,可以理解他的翻译策略与文学理想。论文第一部分根据史料考证出署名为"润词者"的曾朴即是《影之花》译者,并分析了这一署名方式背后的原因;第二部分则通过《影之花》译文与原文的对比分析,呈现出曾朴"略存欧西文学之精神"的多种翻译尝试以及独立于时代风尚的翻译品格。
Zeng Pu is not only a famous novelist in the literature of 20th century,but also an important translator.This paper tries to explore Zeng Pu's translation strategy and literary idea through analyzing his first translation works—Fleur d'ombre.Through the analysis of the textural materials and the cultural context of that period,the first part of this paper points out that Zeng Pu is the translator of Fleur d'ombre in which he named himself as Jingxiong Nushi.By contrasting the translated text with the original text,the second part presents different attempts to reserve the spirit of western literature of the translated Fleur d'ombre.It is such attempts that make this works quite unique contrasted with the translation trend of that period.
