The 18th Party Congress Report is a programmatic document of theoretical innovations adapting Marxism to Chinese conditions. It concentratedly reflects the Party＇ s will, embodies the people＇ s expectations, crystallizes the collective wisdom of the Communist Party of China, and represents the achievements of innovative theories since the 16th Party Congress. It both depicts a grand blueprint to achieve new victory for socialism with Chinese characteristics and to realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, and creatively introduces a series of new ideas, new viewpoints, new judgments, new requirements, and new measures. To advance studying innova- tive theories of the 18th Party Congress on the basis of incisive understanding, we should take great account of the historical process and theoretical achievements of adapting Marxism to Chinese conditions; keep close ties with the great practice of building a moderately prosperous society in all respects and deepening reform and opening up in an all-around way; exert firm hold of the space extended by the innovative theories of the 18th Party Congress; and have profound grasp of the epochal topics in continuously advancing our great cause in the new situations.
