Editors of journals of institutes of physical education should be well-informed of the features of sports studies and the current situations of journals of institutes of physical education. They should shoulder the responsibil- ity of directing the development of sports studies, actively facilitating academic contention, supporting academic tal- ent, advocating academic creativity and firmly oppose academic misconducts.
