It details the production process of aluminium -plastic composite tube and the requirements for the raw materials, and puts forward the measures for solving the problems appearing in production based on experiments gained in developing and producing aluminium - plastic composite tube. The respective feasible and cost- efficient size ranges for tubes produced by ultrasonic lap welding and TIG butt welding are suggested by means of a comparison between the two welding methods.
