In preparation of ultratine Al 2O 2 powder by precipitation, ultrafine powder with a mean size of 0 47 μm and a specific surface area of 4 5560 m 2/g can be obtained by adding surfactant to control the size of particle and effectively elimination hard agglomerates by azeotropic distillation.
