Probe into Cause for High Strength Prestressed Steel Wire Brittle Fracture

利用扫描电镜 ,对脆断试样断口进行了分析 ,指出高强度预应力钢丝原始微裂纹是造成钢丝在使用过程中产生脆性断裂的主要原因 。

To observe and analyze the fracture of brittle fracture sample with SEM.It is pointed out that the initial micro crack of the high strength PC steel wire is the main cause for steel wire brittle fracture in the course of use.The cause for giving rise to surface micro crack of the steel wire is also analyzed.
