摘要
对当前无线宽带通信技术标准LTE、WIMAX、WIFI的网络架构进行了比较,重点讨论了这3种技术体制网络架构的功能及其差异。通过比较发现,LTE与WIMAX的网络架构相似,都是全网扁平化、IP化网络结构,但它们的移动基站/用户终端模块的功能不同,均应用于移动蜂窝组网;WIFI作为3G网络的补充,是由接入点(Access Point)和无线网卡组成的无线局域网络。
The network architectures for LTE, WIMAX, WIFI standards of wireless broadband communication technology are compared, and their functions and differences discussed. The comparison indicates that LTE and WIMAX, with the similar network architectures, are both flat and all-IP, while quite different in functionality of MS/UE modules. They could be all used for mobile cellular network. However, WIFI, actually WLAN and as a supplement for 3G, consists of access point and wireless card.
