The CT and MRI features of non-typical schmorl's nodes

摘要 目的探讨不典型许莫氏结节(SN)的CT、MRI特点。方法回顾性复习160例CT或MRI诊断的SN,将体积较大、或在椎体内形成通道者,划分为不典型SN。结果不典型SN 15例,男9例,女6例,均为单发,平均年龄27岁。大小为1.4cm×1.0cm~3.0cm×2.0cm,多位于胸腰段(73.3%)的上软骨终板(60%),80%位于椎体中前部,13.3%为通道性SN。影像上为椎间盘密度或信号强度组织,与椎间盘相延续。结论不典型SN发病年龄较小,发病部位有一定特点,与椎间盘相延续是其主要诊断依据。 Objective To describe the CT and MRI features of non-typical Schmorl's nodes(SN).Methods The CT and MRI findings of 160 patients with SN were retrospectively reviewed.The giant SNs or the SNs communicating superior and inferior endplate(tunneling SN) were classified as non-typical SN.Results 9 of 15 patients with non-typical SN were male,others were female.The patients aged 15~55 years(meaned age:27 years).The SNs sized 1.4 cm×1.0 cm^3.0 cm×2.0 cm,73.3% of them involved the lower thoracic and upper lumbar spine,60% located in the superior endplate and 80% located at the front and middle third of endplate.The nonclassic SNs were isointensity and connected with intervertebral discs.Conclusion The non-typical SNs connect with intervertebral discs wherever they are located.
