This paper analyzes the reasons why the collection of university library seriously deviates from the demand of the readers, expounds the necessity of establishing the books selection team in university library, and points out that the books selection team established in the library should be composed of many elements and shouldn,t be a working group formed through a simple combination of working staffs.
