Tibetan Buddhist art is the religious art of whose belief is served with artistic images and artistic means. In historical period, all kinds of temples of Tibetan Buddhism in Gansu and Qinghai were also the art treasures; they saved a variety of artistic achievements and fully reflect the level of development of local arts. The temples represented the mainstream of development of local art and penetrated into every aspect of people＇s lives. They produced a significant and far-reaching impact on the development of the whole art in the society.
