王树楠吐鲁番文书题跋笺释

On Wang Shunan＇ s Forewords and Afterwords Concerning the Documents Unearthed in Turpan

王树楠是清代新疆建省之后在地方文化建设方面贡献最为突出的官员。在其任职新疆期间，经眼和收藏了许多出土文书，并通过题跋表现出对敦煌、西域（主要是吐鲁番）文书的最早研究成果。本文的作者从散流在美国、日本和中国各地的西域文书中辑录到46号西域文书上王树楠的题跋105则和诗歌10首，将这些诗文按年录文并作笺释，为早期西域文书的收藏和研究提供一个基础的材料，从中可以发现王树楠作为晚清民国年间最早从事敦煌吐鲁番学研究的重要地位，以及那一时期西北文化事业的发展情形。

Wang Shunan was an official who contributed most to local culture construction of Xinjiang province in the Qing Dynasty. During his term of office he had opportunities to look over a lot of Unearthed documents and collect some of them. The forewords and afterwords written by him show the earlier results of researches on Dunhuang and the Western Regions （especially Turpan）. The author of this paper compiles 105 forewords and afterwords and 10 poems written by Wang Shunan from 46 numbers of documents of the Western Regions, which are collected in America, Japan and different parts of China. These essays and poems are arranged in order of date and noted by the author, which provides fundamental materials for earlier collecting and researching on the documents of Western Regions. From these we can learn that Wang Shunan occupied an important place in earlier Dunhuang and Turpan studies in the age of the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China, meanwhile the development of culture in northwest China at that time.
