The poem Iliad reveals the most tragic page in the vigor and vital war. The poem deals with a hero fighting for dazzling honor, and women as the edge of the stage only in the war. So the writer paid less attention to women in Iliad. But women are the key of the war, and interpretation of the female symbol of this epic war shows Homer＇s view of women and gender.
