Screening of Five Chinese Medicines for Anti-rabbit E. coli

兔大肠杆菌病是危害养兔业的主要传染病,试验分别选取黄连、黄芩、白头翁等五种中药,观察其对兔源致病性大肠杆菌抑制作用。结果表明,黄连、黄芩和白头翁具有良好的抑菌效果,且具有相互协同作用,为开发抗兔源致病性大肠杆菌的中药提供了有益参考。

Rabbit colibacillosis is a major infectious disease to harm the rabbit industry.Five Chinese medicines,such as Rhizoma coptidis,Scutellaria baicalensis and Pulsatilla,were selected in this trial to observe inhibition action on rabbit pathogenic E.coli.The results showed that Rhizoma coptidis,Scutellaria baicalensis,and Pulsatilla could have good antibacterial effect,as well as a mutual synergistic effect.This provides a useful reference for the development of anti-rabbit Pathogenic Escherichia coli medicine.
