摘要
从理论上分析了迈克耳孙干涉仪测量保偏光纤串音的原理和对轴角度偏差对偏振光源消光比的影响,提出了基于迈克耳孙结构的白光干涉仪测量保偏光纤串音参数的新方法,通过保偏光纤跳线将待测光纤接入测量系统中,测量过程无角度旋转,测量简单,重复性好。实验结果表明,干涉法测量保偏光纤串音参数的方法可行,并且可以将光源和测量系统本身的偏振串音通过测控软件进行剔除,测量准确性高,有望在分布式传感和光纤环的测试中得到广泛应用。
Michelson interferometer has been adopted to measure crosstalk in high-birefringence fiber. The theory how to measure the corsstalk of the polarization maintaining optical fiber is analyzed and the experiments based on this interference theory have been done. This method is simple and without any unit to generate angle rotation through the whole measurement. The experimental results show that it is feasible to measure the corsstalk by Michelson interferometer and the measurement accuracy is higher than that of traditional methods. It can be applied in the measurements of distributed sensor and fiber-optic ring.
