摘要
深空探测巡视器多相机间的目标交接是支持探测巡视器接近科学目标、部署仪器进行就位探测的一项关键技术。文章提出了一种基于尺度不变特征转换(Scale Invariant FeatureTransform,SIFT)匹配和光束法平差的多相机目标交接新方法,实现了多相机间目标的自动化高精度交接。利用勇气号火星巡视器相机获取的立体影像进行测试,与传统方法相比,可以大幅度提高交接精度,满足布设就位探测仪器的要求。
Rover camera handoff is a key technology in deep space exploration to support the rover approaching designated target and deploying in-situ instruments. A new rover camera handoff method, which accomplishes camera handoff with high precision and in full automation, is pro- posed based on SIFT matching and bundle adjustment. Experimental results using stereo images of Mars rover Spirit show that the handoff accuracy is much higher than that of traditional meth- od , which satisfies the needs for instrument deployment.
