First Bio-bank in Chengdu

“生物银行有望通过对生物指标变化的监测，实现对疾病的预测和早期干预。”近期，《中国医院院长》记者前往成都探访了中国科学院和四川医学科学院四川省人民医院（下称“四川省人民医院”）共建的生物银行。四川省人民医院生物银行负责人杨正林副院长告诉记者，与国内其他以患者和健康人群横断面研究为主的生物银行不同，该院的生物银行主要以不同时期个体生物指标的纵向变化为主要研究内容，

China Hospital CEO jounalist has recently visited the first bio-bank in Chengdu, which is also the first bio-bank in the northwest region. The researches in this bio-bank mainly focus on the vertical change of individual biological indicators in different stages, and try to predict the possible diseases with the help of genomics, proteomics and metabonomics, in order to achieve prevention and interference at the early stage.
